Education

Dr. Sweet is a licensed clinical psychologist focused on child psychology. He holds a B.A. in psychology and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from DePaul University in Chicago.

Dr. Sweet has over twenty years of experience working with children. He has evaluated more than 1,000 children for autism over the course of his career, and that depth in assessment now anchors a broader focus on direct therapeutic intervention, parent support, and parent education. He has deep training in child development, autism, assessment, and therapy, and has built strong relationships with community providers across the Bay Area. He's also experienced working within schools and the special education process.
